Lori Francescutti Charm

Representing the four corners of the earth and the elements, earth air fire and water—with a central unifying force. This charm is a nod to the unification of the group, being supported and balanced by the central force of our interest and identities as makers, designers, goldsmiths, artists. Each point of the cross contributing to the whole, as in community we are more than our single parts.

I am an oil painter turned goldsmith, a lover of sun, sea and rugged cliff top landscapes. My work is inspired by the myriad of forms and textures found in nature, ancient talismans and historic relics, travelling to out of the way places, and the incredible gemstones I work with to create each piece.
 
I am honoured to have my charm included in this collaborative effort with so many other artists I admire. I have been a member of the Stay Gold Collective for a year and a half and have found support and inspiration in the wonderful community Liz has created. The practical resources that are available through Stay Gold have allowed me to evolve my business in ways I could not have imagined. Liz is on a mission to help independent jewellery artists grow our businesses in ways that are authentic and true to each of us, recognizing that no two individuals are alike and that we each have our own unique path.
