Your December To-Do List

Updated: Feb 21

Ah, December…

Time to press pause on the comparisons, the FOMO, and the Mariah Carey.

We really don’t need to be stuck in those loops year after year, do we?

The good news is that if you want to have a truly great month and end 2022 strong and stress-free, there are only three things you MUST do.

1. Get clear on your plan and priorities.

It’s easy to get caught up in what everyone else is doing, what's new on social media, you name it – and that can make anyone feel like they are doing too much and not enough at the same time.

The key to not running around in circles is going straight down a checklist.

Review the goals you set at the beginning of the year and work backward to ensure that you’re putting effort into what is most important for YOUR business.

      2. Make some time for yourself.

Whether you’ve reached all your sales goals by the second week (and can close up shop if you choose) or you’re behind target (and would be even if you worked 24/7 until New Year’s Eve)...

📣 You deserve some rest this holiday season!

Knowing your numbers can help you figure out where you’re at – but looking at your clients’ behavior can help make sense of your holiday season.

(Sure, Christmas Eve could be a great sales day for you… but not if you don’t have many last-minute shoppers!)

Timing your holiday closure according to your best buyers can be especially well suited to anyone experiencing goal guilt.

       3. Start looking ahead to 2023.

Yes, I said it! The best way to end one year is with a clear understanding of where you’re going in the next.

You don’t need to have every detail figured out and you certainly don’t have to have it all figured out right now – but come January 1st, it’s better to have a plan than a panic attack.

Seriously, you won’t just be thanking me this time next year. You’ll be thanking me month after month throughout 2023 as you move with more purpose and less confusion.
